Functional testing

Structured test cases executed by vetted testers across the device and OS matrix that matches your users. Every pass and fail comes with evidence.

Upload your cases or let our test leads write them from your specs and user stories. Testers run each case step by step on their own phones, tablets and computers, recording an actual result for every step instead of a single pass or fail at the end.

Failures turn into bug reports with screenshots, screen recordings, device logs and exact repro steps. A TestGate lead reproduces and deduplicates every report before it reaches your backlog, so your engineers only see confirmed, actionable issues.

What’s included

  • Step-level execution and results
  • Screenshots, video and logs
  • Device, OS and region targeting
  • Reusable test packages
  • Test case writing from your specs
  • Coverage report per release
Best for
Release sign-off, new feature validation, smoke and sanity runs before a store submission.
What you get
Executed cases with per-step results, triaged bugs in Jira or your tracker, and a release summary you can share with stakeholders.

Mobile app testing

iOS and Android builds on real handsets, carriers and networks. Catch thermal throttling, storage limits and sensor quirks on the long tail of devices.

Emulators and device farms miss what your users actually live with: a three-year-old Android phone with 2 GB free, a dual-SIM handset on a congested carrier, aggressive battery savers from OEMs that kill background work. Our testers use their own devices in the places they live, so you see the app the way your customers do.

We cover the full lifecycle: fresh installs from TestFlight, Firebase or the stores, upgrades from older versions with real data, push notifications, deep links, biometrics, camera and location permissions, and what happens when the network drops halfway through a flow.

What’s included

  • Real devices, not emulators
  • 3G, 4G, 5G and flaky Wi-Fi
  • OEM and OS version coverage
  • Install, upgrade and push flows
  • Battery, memory and storage limits
  • Interrupts: calls, SMS, background
Best for
Consumer apps with a wide Android base, fintech and super apps, apps launching in new countries.
What you get
A device matrix built from your analytics, bugs tagged with model, OS, carrier and network, and crash logs attached.

Web app testing

Complex B2B workflows, permissions and integrations across browsers, screen sizes and tenants, without slowing your release.

SaaS products break in the seams: a role that can see a button it should not, an SSO redirect that fails on Safari, a table that collapses on a 13-inch laptop, an export that times out for the largest customer. Testers work through your real journeys with the accounts, roles and data sets you give them.

We test on current and previous versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, including corporate setups like strict cookie policies, proxies and browser extensions that your enterprise users run.

What’s included

  • Cross-browser journeys
  • Role and permission checks
  • Responsive layouts
  • Third-party integrations
  • SSO, MFA and session handling
  • Imports, exports and large data sets
Best for
B2B SaaS, admin portals, ecommerce storefronts and checkout, customer and partner portals.
What you get
Browser and OS coverage per journey, permission matrices with findings, and bugs with HAR files and console logs where relevant.

Exploratory testing

Experienced testers hunt the edge flows and ambiguous breaks that scripts quietly pass, and escalate them with clear repro steps.

Scripted cases confirm what you expected. Exploratory sessions find what you did not. Each session runs against a charter, such as "break the checkout with coupons and saved cards" or "switch language and currency mid-flow", so testers go deep where your risk is highest.

Different testers bring different habits, devices and instincts, which is exactly what you want when you are hunting for state bugs, race conditions and confusing UX. Every finding is reproduced, deduplicated and rated for severity before it reaches you.

What’s included

  • Charter-based sessions
  • Edge flows and state changes
  • Severity from Critical to Low
  • Deduplicated before you see it
  • Session notes and coverage maps
  • Quick-start sessions for urgent releases
Best for
New features before launch, major redesigns, and products with little documentation or test coverage.
What you get
Session reports showing what was explored, a prioritized bug list, and suggestions for new regression cases.

Localization and payments

Locale is a stack, not a dropdown. Carriers, wallets, keyboards and compliance quirks change market by market, so we test with people who live there.

Native-speaking testers in your target markets check translations in context, truncated strings, right-to-left layouts, date and number formats, names and addresses that do not fit your form fields, and copy that reads as awkward or offensive to locals.

For payments, testers complete real transactions with local cards, wallets and bank transfers on local networks, so you find declined cards, 3-D Secure loops, OTP delays and wallet hand-off failures before your customers do. We work with your sandbox or low-value live transactions, whichever you prefer.

What’s included

  • UPI, PIX, SEPA and Apple Pay
  • RTL and mixed scripts
  • Currency and date formats
  • KYC and regional address forms
  • Native-speaker linguistic review
  • Local carriers, SMS and OTP
Best for
Global launches, fintech and wallets, marketplaces and travel apps entering new countries.
What you get
Market-by-market findings with screenshots in context, payment results per method, and translation fixes you can hand to your localization team.

UX and usability

In-market signal on usability, messaging and conversion across languages, devices and cultures, before you scale spend.

Recruit participants who match your buyers by country, age, device, income band or profession, and watch them work through tasks such as sign-up, onboarding or a first purchase. Think-aloud recordings show where they hesitate, what they misread and why they give up.

Combine moderated sessions with unmoderated studies at scale and short surveys for quantitative signal. You get clear evidence for design decisions instead of opinions in a meeting room.

What’s included

  • Task-based usability studies
  • Drop-off and conversion insight
  • Cohorts that match your buyers
  • Video and written feedback
  • First-impression and copy tests
  • Competitor benchmark sessions
Best for
Onboarding and checkout optimisation, new market entry, and validating prototypes before you build.
What you get
Session recordings with highlights, a findings report ranked by impact, and recommended fixes for each journey.

Accessibility

Screen readers, font scaling and motor constraints reveal blockers that automated scans miss, especially in dynamic, multi-step flows.

Automated scanners catch only a fraction of accessibility issues. The rest show up only when a person relies on VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA or JAWS, navigates by keyboard or switch control, or uses large text and high contrast every day. Our accessibility testers include people who use assistive technology themselves.

We test complete journeys such as sign-up, search, checkout and account settings, and map each finding to the WCAG 2.2 success criterion it fails, with severity and a suggested fix, so your team can prioritise and prove progress.

What’s included

  • Screen reader journeys
  • Keyboard and switch access
  • Contrast and scaling checks
  • Findings mapped to WCAG
  • Testers who use assistive tech daily
  • Retest to confirm fixes
Best for
Teams working toward WCAG 2.2 AA, the European Accessibility Act, ADA and public sector requirements.
What you get
A WCAG-mapped issue log with evidence, a summary by journey and severity, and retest results after your fixes.

Beta and regression

Publish clear test packages, reuse them across releases, and let the crowd carry the long tail of devices and locales every sprint.

Turn your regression suite into a repeatable package and run it every sprint or release candidate. Testers on the same devices that found a bug verify the fix, so you know it is fixed where it actually broke, not just on a developer's machine.

For beta programs we recruit and manage real users in your target markets, collect structured feedback and crash reports, and keep participants engaged through the cycle. Performance, security, IoT and other specialist testing are available on request.

What’s included

  • Sprint-aligned regression runs
  • Fix verification on the original device
  • Beta cohorts in target markets
  • Performance, security and IoT on request
  • Jira, Slack and CI integrations
  • Trends across releases
Best for
Teams shipping every week or two, apps with a large regression suite, and pre-launch beta programs.
What you get
Regression results per build, verified fixes, beta feedback and crash reports, and a release-over-release quality trend.
